Terms of Service

By using kantodesigns.com or purchasing from Kanto Designs, you're agreeing to these terms. We've written them plainly because we'd rather you actually read them. If something here is confusing, reach us at hello@kantodesigns.com.
Age requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to use this website, create an account, or make a purchase. The Kanto+ content platform — including the Journal and any educational or intimate wellness content — is expressly intended for adults only. By accessing any part of this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts and cancel orders if we have reason to believe an account has been created by or for someone under 18.
Made-to-order products
All Kanto Designs products are made to order. This means your item does not exist until you buy it — we print and assemble it specifically for you after your order is placed. This is how we keep quality high and avoid the waste of mass production.
Because production begins promptly after an order is confirmed, we cannot accept cancellations once production has started. In practice, this means you have a short window — typically 2 hours after order confirmation — to request a cancellation before the manufacturing process begins. After that point, the order is in production and cannot be stopped.
If you need to cancel within that window, email hello@kantodesigns.com immediately with your order number. We'll do our best to catch it in time.
Shipping and production times
Our standard production and shipping timeline is 5–7 business days from order confirmation to delivery within the contiguous United States. This includes production time (typically 2–3 business days) plus shipping transit time.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays enter production the next business day.
International orders may take longer due to customs processing. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, carrier issues, or events outside our control. We will provide a tracking number via email when your order ships so you can monitor its progress.
We ship to most countries. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by your country.
Returns and defects
We stand behind what we make. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described, we will make it right — no questions asked.
Defective or damaged items
Contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and your order number. We will send a prepaid return label and ship a replacement or issue a full refund — your choice. Return shipping for defective items is free.
Non-defective returns
Because our products are made to order, we are unable to accept returns for items that are not defective. We encourage you to review product descriptions, dimensions, and material details carefully before purchasing. If you have questions before buying, email us — we're happy to help you make the right choice.
Custom and personalized orders
Items with custom engravings, colors, or other personalizations are non-returnable except in the case of a defect or error on our part. Please double-check all custom specifications before confirming your order.
Intellectual property
All designs, product files, artwork, brand assets, Journal content, and other creative work produced by Kanto Designs are the exclusive property of Kanto Designs, LLC. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without our explicit written permission.
Purchasing a physical product does not transfer any intellectual property rights in the design of that product. You own the object; we retain the design.

Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Kanto Designs is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to keep your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not use another person's account or create accounts for anyone other than yourself without their express permission. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
Our products and website are provided “as is.” While we work hard to ensure quality and accuracy, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the fitness of our products for any particular purpose beyond what is described in their product listings. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our site or products will be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify active customers by email and update the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
